Jack was a tormented soul due to a life of mistreatment and neglect. He was found loose and sent to the local shelter. We think that he was tied to a short chain most of his life and broke free.
He was adopted but returned when the new owners couldn't handle him. We then took him from the Humane Society thinking we could train him (we have had and trained lots of dogs over the years) and that he would like farm life where he could run and play all day with our other dog, Patty.
Unfortunately, he had been so abused that he ran wild and, worst of all, chased cattle to exhaustion. It seemed as if it would only be a matter of time before he was shot and killed by an irate farmer.
Now all of that is in the past thanks to your intervention.Your remedy for Jack was truly amazing. He has progressed from being a completely unmanageable canine to a wonderful companion. He loved your essences and would wag his tail in anticipation when he saw the bottle. Although he is no longer being treated, he seems to be more comfortable with himself and more receptive to our wishes.
